Love of Fame

The title is from this quote by Edward Young from his work of the same title. The theme of this piece is instant gratification and immediate attention acquisition.

The little piece of prose I wrote onto a piece of acrylic was inspired by the headline above from 1952 and an incident that occurred at a hotel in Daytona Beach during Spring Break 2008.

The fortune cookie message reminds us that the privileged and the affluent will believe they are above the laws and morals set by the rest of us.
